Twists of Life

The Vashey family is pretty sad right about now. We are not going to close on our house tomorrow. It takes an even worse twist. The two loan officers for Chase bank (I think the only 2 in town) quit. Yep, they quit and left Chase with about 50 active loans and refinances. I don't really blame them for quitting. I got the feeling they were being treated poorly and overworked. Jon is going to go up there and talk to the bank president in the morning. Please pray! Amy (our agent) is going to ask the people we are buying our house from if we can maybe rent it from them until the loan goes through. Maybe we can still move this weekend? Please pray! We may have to move in with my grandparents, if not. Life is so strange right now. I don't even know what to think. Actually, I'm trying not to think about it too hard and just keep praying that God will keep us calm and thankful no matter what.

What crummy news! I'm so sorry to hear this and will keep your sweet family in my prayers! Makes ya wonder if this is one of those crazy trials that end up being a blessing...but you have to go through bumpy roads to get there. Does that make sense?

i completely understand. this is how we felt while living at the reynolds, first trying to find a hosue and then trying to get into the house and it just kept getting pushed back. it'll all be over soon and when you look back it won't seem so bad.
