This thing is not a joke and somebody in congress needs to do something about it!!

Leigh- As I understand it (per the owner of Change of Hands Resale here in White Oak). This will not affect resale shops-- the wording of the bill will be changed....otherwise- can you imagine the effect on the economy if resale, goodwill, salvation army, garage sales, etc. were shut down!? And as I understand it, if they were shut down, the items would not end up in a landfill, but Hazmat would have to come and take them away per protocol because the merchandise would be considered toxic. Anyway, the owner of the shop has contacted Gillian Sheridan of KLTV and she has contacted Louis Gomehrt. Hopefully enough people will get involved in the next month before this is all official...

That being said, I was lamenting all night about this last night and I prayed for God to give me a word of peace on the matter. He gave me this...
Matthew 6:25-34 (I won't quote the WHOLE thing)
"Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on"....vs 28 "so why do you worry about clothing?" vs 32-34 "For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."

Hope this is encouraging to you
