Two Ladies

Meet Henrietta and Sally!(that's really their names) I was on my way home from picking up my raw milk and saw a sign for an estate sale. Oh gosh, got to go! :o) I have been looking everywhere for old portraits for our Canton booth. Why you say? Well let me tell you! I have this crazy idea of using them to display jewelry. LeeEllen sales jewelry in her booth and I was trying to come up with a unique way of showing off her stuff. We'll put foam core behind them and use them almost like a bulletin board. Of course we'll put earrings in the ears and necklaces around the neck and so forth, but I'll also put nails around the frames to show off more of her sparklies. I would really like to find a couple of animal portraits, or even a big landscape with a few deer. They would all be used like bulletin boards. I've never seen this done. make sense? A bit crazy I know, but you have to get people's attention for them to come into your little shop....Canton is soooo big! The green fabric you see there is for table runners. it's almost the color of the back wall....I'll go a little lighter prehaps. Anyway, I was just so excited to introduce you to the two charming ladies, that I couldn't help sharing! :o)

Leigh, you are the most creative person I know.... or at the very least you use your creativity more than anyone else I know. You challenge me to want to get out of my box and do more unique things. All that to say, I love your idea with the ladies ;)

Leigh, it's obvious that Henrietta and Sally are in need of some jewels! They're perfect.
