This too shall pass

Wyatt's Christmas Tree

It snowed here!! Amazing......it didn't stick but it was still beautiful. Isn't Zane sweet? He really is pretty easy, other than he REALLy likes to be held all the time. He started sleeping 5 hrs straight in the night but then he stopped. 2ish and 5ish are my early morning nursing shifts as of late. Jon and I are definitely not fully functioning. This too shall pass right? :o) Wyatt and I are going to make Christmas cookies this week and walk to each of neighbor's houses and introduce ourselves. I'd really like to know my neighbors......and apologize for our ugly yard. :o)

Wow. I haven't seen Wyatt that messy at mealtime for a while. Fun! Zane is precious- and it will pass, all too quick I believe.

First, I don't know if I said congrats!Second, yes it will pass. I remember one day about 2 months after M, our second was born and life just got easier. It will pass. And then we will want it back!

I remember feeling exhausted in the first couple of months of each of our children's lives, and thinking it would be FOREVER before they slept through the night and I would feel rested again. And then suddenly I would be looking back on those first few months, well rested and wondering how they had flown by so quickly. Isn't it interesting how sleep deprivation messes up our perspective - and how much easier it is to see that when you aren't sleep deprived anymore. Hang in there!!!

They are both so precious! And I know in no time your routine will be down and he'll be back to sleeping those 5 blissful hours :)
