Vintage Bicycle

I'm sure you're probably tired of hearing about my new Canton adventures, but it's been really fun and fulfilling! Tiring......but satisfying. My stuff is actually selling, namely the bunnies. It's funny, they don't sell well on-line. I also sold Eloise the goat.....kind of sad about that. Anyway, I was scared nobody would want anything, so this is great! :o) I am very excited about a vintage bicycle I bought today! It has a basket and everything! I haven't decided what color I'm going to paint it but for $15 I think it's a steal. I actually bought it for LeeEllen and her shop but it's the kind of thing I've always wanted to have myself......I guess in my imagination I someday will have a small porch with a little table and chairs, coffee, a good book, window box with flowers, bluebirds chirping in the tree overhead .......and a vintage, red bicycle with a basket planted with yellow pansies. *sigh* For some reason that makes me feel good just thinking about it. :o)

Cool that you found a bicycle! Thanks for gathering all that stuff for Avery's party. It is going to be fancy!

BTW, you certainly don't discourage me. I sometimes just get sad and discouraged living in a fallen world with sad circumstances. I know that y'all put your hope in the Lord. You are awesome people of faith. Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. I know that you are fully hoping in the Lord!

Congratulations on all your sales! I'm on the fence about doing a local boutique at the end of the month...you kind of have me thinking I just may do it! I think it's different when people can actually see and hold the item and fall in love with it! I just can't get over how adorable your squirels are!

Your "dream porch" sounds lovely! I found myself relaxing just reading about it!

Love!

Hi Leigh,
I was in Canton on Friday but LeeEllen(?) said that you weren't there. I was sad that I missed you. Your booth was awesome! I bought "Tip" for a friend of mine that is having a baby in December. I loved all of your stuff!! I wish now that I would have bought one of your silk flowers. Everything was adorable. You are so talented! I hope the rest of the weekend went well.

I'm gonna miss Tip--she was one of your best creations. We were looking at your blogspot yesterday at work, and my coworkers want to see the bicycle!

Thank's everyone! I'll take a pic of the bike when I'm done. I think it's going to have a light pink body and a pea green basket.

Yeah for cool bikes!

I'm really proud of you for your talent and being able to sell that talent (because they are really cute and never doubt that!)
