I am so proud of these paintings! Only one out of the 6 had ever used acrylic before. Check out the awesome backgrounds and the shadows. Not one single one looks like the usual symbol you draw for a flower! It is really hard to get a kid away from symbolism drawing. You know, like when someone says, "draw a person" and then you draw a smiley face with a stick body. Really trying to draw what you see is hard to do! I love it! Oh, and I sold my first Silly Turnip off Etsy! yeah! Aquin the elephant will be flying to Michigan on Monday. I'm sure he'll probably read a good book and eat lots of airplane peanuts.
