So I am constantly getting ideas for kids crafts.....but I have a 15month old who likes to eat craft items more than use them. I had this thought that maybe I should pass along my ideas to you moms out there who need a little inspiration for fun artsy things to do with your kids. Hopefully this will help.....and someday I can use them on Wyatt and possibly another few little Vashey's.
Label Fun
Dishwashing liquid, handsoap, vaseline, and deodorant are just a few household items that have the most BORING labels. You see them and use them everyday, yet they never really match anything in your house.....and who wants to spend tons of money on the fancy stuff that does? Nope, so why not change them? If you pull off the stickers, then it usually leaves a sticky film that you can stick and switch with something more attractive! Then, you just cover with clear plastic tape and *voila* their waterproof! You are only limited by your imagination!

Materials:
clear packing tape
magazines, paper
scissors
Tips: Use the label on the product for your template.
Try to think outside of the box.
If something is a clear bottle, then what faces the inside is just as important b/c you can see it.

fun! Happy Anniversary.
Wow, that is a great idea. I LOVE the old sheets idea too, I'm not such a hot sewer, but I try.
Thanks for the blog visit. You win, you had the name 'Wyatt' first. (I thought it was me!)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY my dear sweet friend. I can't believe it's already been 3 years since the wedding fun. I still look at the pictures several times a year. Love you and Jon both (and Wyatt)!
Leigh, I miss you too! I would love to come over, have a cup of coffee, peanut butter sandwhich, and have you teach me something. I miss those times. :)
Those puppy's are just adorable. Very cute indeed.
Great ideas! My daughter loves crafts. Me, not so much. But I'm trying! I've been looking for ideas of fun stuff to do with her (lack of creativity on my part is one of the reason I don't like to craft), and I think we have a winner with the labels.
Mom bloggers are always looking for craft ideas...so you've brought your suggestions to the right place!!
happy pow!
Cute! I love the puppies, too. What a great idea!
