Blue Friday

I was so looking forward to today. Right now we only have one vehicle and I haven't been out of the house since Sunday. Lori was going to pick me up and take me the women's group up at the church. Well.......that didn't happen. We were just about to walk out the door when the tornado sirens went off! Yikes! I sent Lori, Abigail and Wyatt to our front bathroom and scrounged around our house for pillows and blankets. (We are pretty short b/c the Crowe family is borrowing all our extra til they move to the Ukraine) Thankfully the bathroom was pretty clean! We hung out in there listening to the weather on the radio for probably 2 hrs. It was kind of fun, but then kind of not fun. Wyatt actually laid down with his blankie he was so tired. Now I have to clean the messy house before Jon comes home. How does a house get so messy in 1 stinkin' day? I mean really?! And can I say, I HATE cleaning the highchair tray! So gross! I am getting a cold and all I want to do is take a nap! (Wyatt's gotten up at 6am, 2 mornings in a row. He used to spoil me and wake up at 8am) Argh! This is a blue, blue Friday.

Our floor hides the gunk pretty well.....you can't really see all the griminess in this pic!

Bare shelves!
I took anything glass or sharp off the bathroom shelves just in case a tornado really did come through!

Sweet Buns!

Moments like this makes up for everything!

I am with you- I detest cleaning the highchair. It is disgusting and it just gets worse. I can't believe that I am about to graduate McClaine from the highchair and then Audrey is going to be in it. Crazy about all the tornadoes! Yeah for the weekend!

We missed you! I just kept walking out the door, ignoring those ugly sirens. It was not so bad on the south side of town. I think it was worse up North.
