Jon's Back/Baby Bluebirds and a Watching Hawk

Jon threw his back out yesterday morning. I have never seen him in so much pain. He has an extremely high tolerance for pain b/c it's been chronic for years. Last night he couldn't get up off the floor and he just laid there and cried. Wyatt started crying too. Both my beloved boys were crying and I just held my tears in. We ate dinner with Jon lying on his stomach on the kitchen floor. He crawled to the living rm and slept on the rug. I slept on the couch. Today I took him to the chiropractor, Dr. Lipkin. He took an X-ray, did a form of acupuncture and gave Jon a back brace, which seemed to help a bit. We'll go back tomorrow when the x-ray results come in. I feel so awful for my husband. I have never seen him like this. He can't walk and his lower back is really swollen. Please pray for him if you read this.
On a happy note, our eggs hatched and we have 4 baby bluebirds. The mama was divebombing me, so I didn't get a very good look. There is hawk that has taken up residence in our neighbor's tree and it's worrying me. Hawks love baby bluebirds. I like hawks, they aren't evil like sparrows, but this hawk needs to skidattle!
