Easter in England
Yesterday, we had Easter in England....no not really England....just a backyard in east Texas but it felt like we were in England with the drizzle and strangeness of it.
My Grandpa has not been doing very well, so we had our egg hunt early this year for his benefit. My brother Caleb, Tyne and their 3 kids Avery (age3), McClaine(1) and baby Audrey (3mo)came up from "the Border" and My Aunt Carol, Uncle Bob and two of their kids Corrie and Drew came down from Grapevine for the big event. Grandpa's a trooper though, there may be many more days left for the stubborn guy. He was the happiest and most responsive I've seen him in a month and he actually sat at the table and ate with us!
Aunt Carol fulfilled our "special sandwich needs" and we all had a smashing time!

i love that Wyatt is all bundled up but barefoot! :)
I thought that was funny too. :) Looks like my kids.
I love grandpa's. I'm sorry your's isn't doing well.
Yes, I've had several people question his lack of footwear. It wasn't actually cold. I was really trying to just keep the drizzle off...notice other people were wearing shorts.....I say this for all my relatives up north, lest they think ill of my mothering skills.
